Kellyanne Conway says folks are looking for collusions and conclusions that don't exist

Last night, during an appearance on CNN’s “Don Lemon Tonight,” White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway told guest host Chris Cuomo that folks are “looking for collusions and conclusions that don’t exist” in the Russian investigation.

Conway said to Cuomo, “And in this case, you know again I think people are just talking about an investigation that exist but looking for collusions and conclusion that don’t exist.”

Conway’s comments came on the day that it was reported that Special Counselor Robert Mueller has convened a Grand Jury and expanded his investigation to include Donald Trump’s finances.

Concerns about Donald Trump and his crew’s involvement with Russia during the presidential campaign reached a high point after it was reported that the president helped to write his son’s, Donald Trump Jr., statement about his meeting with the Russians. Trump Jr. had come under fire for his meeting with Russian Lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.

The meeting was arranged by Rob Goldstone, who is connected to Donald Trump business associate, Russian Businessman Ara Agalarov.

Rob Goldstone manages Russian Pop Star Emin Agalarov, who is Ara Agalarov’s son.

Ara Agalarov helped Donald Trump to bring the 2013 Miss Universe Pageant to Moscow.

According to reports, Mueller is investigating the finances associated with Trump Organization and the 2013 Miss Universe Pageant held in Moscow.

Although the White House previously denied the president’s involvement in writing his son’s statement,White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway seemed to verify the report that the president played a larger role in shaping his son’s statement about his meeting with the Russians.

Huckabee Sanders and Conway told reporters that Trump Sr., was acting like a “concerned” parent who was just trying to help his son.

Donlad Trump Jr., and his brother-in-law Jared Kushner, who was also at the meeting with the Russians, have denied any wrong doing.

Trump Sr., has warned that Mueller will be crossing a “red line” if his investigation expands into the Trump Family businesses.

However, the president’s lawyers have taken a different approach. After being asked about the recent updates to Mueller’s investigation, Trump’s lawyers responded that the news about Mueller convening the grand jury is welcome news because it is a sign the investigation is coming to an end.

Trump has of yet to directly respond to the news that Mueller has convened a grand jury and expanded the investigation to include Trump’s family business.

Last night was the closes he came to responding to Mueller. During a campaign event in West Virginia, Trump told the crowd that the Russian investigation was a cover for the Democrats having “suffered the greatest loss” in the history of presidential elections.
